AUSPLUME is the most popular Gaussian Plume model in Australasia. Although many may treat it as a simple, user-friendly model, a certain level of expertise is required to get the most out of it. Our experience in industry has revealed that inappropriate use of this model could have dire consequences.

 

CALPUFF is another modelling package, often used where the steady state Gaussian models (AUSPLUME and AERMOD) cannot be applied.

TAPM is a powerful modelling package developed by the CSIRO. Due to its capabilities, it is gaining greater recognition and is becoming more widely used in industry.
